I wasn't sure how to save the picture so print screen will have to work! The lighting in this picture emphasizes the dogs main feature of his eyes. The light is coming through the blinds, creating a natural light and strips of light on the dog. My attention is strung throughout the picture, following the strips of light across the dogs face and onto the back wall. The photographer wants the viewer to focus on the dog and the lighting makes this possible!

Writing assignment 5
I interviewed Thomas Sakoulas for this assignment. He said what motivates him to make artwork is the process and being immersed in his art. He tries to communicate ideas that can't be told with words. I asked him what inspires him to do art, and he responded that everything does; architecture, nature, and his family.
